Vencedore do LMCC Creative Engagement Grant 2023. Também recebeu o Franklin Furnace Fund 2022–2023, foi semifinalista do Headlands 2023 Chamberlain Award, finalista da CUE Foundation’s 2022 Public Programs Fellowship e ganhador(a) da Ragdale Alice Judson Hayes Fellowship 2018, além de ter avançado para a segunda fase do Creative Capital Awards 2018.

Publicou os artigos “Talking with My Daughter…” e “Why is this Happening in Your Life…” no blog parental Motherlode, do The New York Times.

Além disso, sua obra “Ain’t I a Woman (?/!): Poems” foi incluída na lista longa do Prêmio Christopher Smart–Joan Alice 2020, do The Black Spring Press Group.
